Sara has worked exclusively in the employment law field since graduating from Law School in 2003. She specializes in the areas of dispute resolution, wage and hour compliance, leave and disability management, discrimination related matters, employment agreements, performance management, workplace investigations and other human resources best practices. More than anything, Sara enjoys helping her clients to find effective and efficient resolutions to their problems and take steps to reduce the risk of workplace disputes.
Sara started her professional career in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in the employment law group of Wolf, Block, Schorr & Solis-Cohen LLP. While still (and always) loving Philadelphia, Sara moved to New York in 2005 to work at Littler Mendelson, P.C., one of the country’s leading employment law firms for management clients. While at Littler, Sara represented a wide range of clients in various industries, including retail, hospitality, manufacturing, banking and insurance.
Sara has also served as in-house counsel for a publicly-traded company with over 8,000 employees in multiple states. As that company’s first Employment Counsel, Sara created new policies and procedures to comply with federal, state and local laws. She also collaborated with her human resources and business partners to implement and enforce employment-related policies and practices that were both legally compliant and operationally efficient.
Sara now provides high-quality guidance and strategic solutions in a cost-effective manner to individuals and businesses. She works with her clients to create and implement HR compliant policies and practices, provides guidance on difficult employee issues, advocates for clients when disputes arise, and serves as a neutral mediator, arbitrator and investigator.
